Shepherd Park and Colonial Village

Colonial Village and Shepherd Park are situated in the very northern tip of DC.
Of the more than 1,800 single family homes, nearly 90 percent are owner-occupied.
In walking distance is downtown Silver Spring, MD with all its shopping, theaters, dining and night life.
One of the major draws of the neighborhood, however, are its recreational qualities: the proximity to vast national park lands and the Rock Creek Park hiker-biker trail.  See a slide show of Colonial Village and Shepherd Park homes here.
